![]() I have been running a 2003 Cluster on the same hardware under ESX 4 for 18+ months without issue.Īny assistance / recommendations would be greatly appreciated. The storage has ALUA and Persistent Reserve configured. The SCSI controllers and disks are set to physical compatibility and have fixed paths The storage is presented through datacore via fiber channel. I have tried with and without a virtual floppy drive on the servers (just in case). The setup has also been verified by a VMware support technician. The servers have been configured as per VMwares guide ( Cluster Virtual Machines Across Physical Hosts) VMs running Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise SP1 (with all updates) Servers hosted on 2 ESXi 5.0 Update 1 hosts. Insert %2 (Volume Serial Number: %3) into drive %1. When I run the cluster validation I receive a strange error, the List Potential Cluster Disk report fails with: I am trying to create a 2008 R2 failover cluster but I am experiencing a strange issue.
